Haladdin Ibragimli
Khaladdin Jalal-ogly Ibragimli, born in 1958 in the Dmanisi district of Georgia, finished school in 1974 and entered the historical faculty of the Azerbaijan state teachers' training college. In 1978, graduated from the college and was sent to work as teacher at a secondary school in Zhdanov (currently, Beilagan) district. In 1982, started postgraduate studies at the Azerbaijan teachers scientific research institute. In 1991, defended a Ph. D. thesis on the topic of Culture of communication; in 1997, a doctoral thesis (Azerbaijani political emigration in 1920-1991). Candidate of Pedagogical Science, Doctor of History, professor.
In 1982-1993, worked as researcher and senior researcher at the Azerbaijan teachers scientific research institute. In 1993-1998, professor at the Higher diplomatic college. In 1998-2002, professor at the Khazar University, taught political science and theory of international relations. At present, heads the Caucasus research center he established in 1997.
Author of 4 books, over 100 scientific articles.
Has family, three children.
