Krasheninnikova Veronika
Veronika Krasheninnikova studied at the St. Petersburg Shipbuilding Institute (Engineering and Economics), the Sorbonne (the French Language and Civilization), the Paris Institute of Political Sciences (Economics and Finance), and the New York University (Investment Banking). In 1996-97, she worked at the United Nations Organization in Geneva.
She has completed her PhD thesis «Russian-American Dialogue as a Problem of Political Culture» and has authored foreign policy articles in journals «Russia in Global Affairs», «Otechestvennye Zapiski», «Glavnaya Tema», etc.
At present, V.Krasheninnikova heads the Council for Trade and Economic Cooperation (USA-CIS), a Russian nongovernmental organization in New York, engaged in promoting interests of Russian regions and business in the USA. She also represents the interests of the St. Petersburg Government in negotiations on bilateral cooperation with US organizations and companies.
