Shvetsov Yuri

Born on 29 July, 1966 in village Ryasna, Kamenetsky District, Brest Region of Byelorussian SSR. In 1988, graduated from the history department of the Byelorussian State University.
Publisher and editor of web projects «European integration», «Geopolitics», «Chernobyl Journal».
In 1991–1998, researcher, Department of history and theory of culture, Arts and literature institute, Lithuanian Academy of sciences. Specialized in studies of theoretical issues related to development of culture and political systems in Central Europe.
In 1994–1996, lecturer, Institute of political sciences and international relations, Vilnius state university.
In 1998–2005, director, Center for issues of European integration, European humanitarian university (Minsk).
Participated in development of scientific research programs of the Belarus Foreign Ministry, Economics Ministry, Council of Ministers, OSCE.
Author of nearly 600 analytical articles on economic and political issues in Byelorussian, Russian, Lithuanian, Polish, Ukrainian, U.S., French, British periodicals.
